Sugar Glazed Ham

So good you’ll eat until you glaze over.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup grainy Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

  • Pinch of flaked smoked sea salt


Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Stir continuously until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is fully combined, about 5–7 min.

  3. Simmer the mixture on low for 2-3mon, then remove from heat to allow mixture to thicken as it cools.

  4. Cook ham according to package/weight instructions, then brush the glaze mixture over the ham during the last 30–45 minutes of baking. Baste the ham every 10–15 minutes for a sticky, flavourful coating, and broil for the last 5 minutes to crisp the glaze.

  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool for ~5min.

  6. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
